3 (4-inch) sticks cinnamon (or equal other size)
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup whole cloves
1/2 lemon, halved
1/2 orange, halved
4 cups water
Combine the cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, lemon, orange and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer as long as needed, adding water to keep mixture from drying up. You can store in the refrigerator, tightly covered, for several days and use as desired
