1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
Juice of 1 lemon
1 1/2 c. waater
1 9-inch baked pie shell
3 oz. package cream cheese
2 Tbs. milk
2 c. sliced, ripe peaches
1 c. heavy cream
To make a sauce, mix the first 4 ingredients. Cook until sauce is clear & thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat & chill 1 hour before serving. Line pie shell with cream cheese, softened with milk. Mix chilled sauce with peaches. Spread over cream cheese. Whip cream with sugar & 1/8 tsp. lemon juice. Spread on top of pie & garnish with peach slices.
