Crust:
1 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbs. butter
1 egg, beaten
Filling:
3-4 c. blackberries
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbs. sugar
3 Tbs. flour
1/2 c. milk, about

Sift flour with baking powder & salt. Add butter or margarine & mix thoroughly until it resembles fine meal. Add beaten egg, mix well. Take in hand & form a smooth ball of dough. Press dough by hand in a greased 9" pie plate starting in the middle until all dough is used. For the filling, fill crust with the blackberries. Make a custard of the egg, sugar, flour & milk & pour over the berries. Bake in a 350 preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until crust is done & custard thickens. Makes one 9" cobbler.
