6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
15 oz. can tomato sauce
14. 5 oz. can chicken broth
1 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. each chopped onion & green bell pepper
1 Tb. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. each garlic powder & pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Place chicken in 13x9x2 dish. Mix together remaining ingredients except cheese
pour over chicken. Bake, covered, at 350, 45 minutes. Unocver & sprinkle with cheese & continue to bake 10-15 minutes. Serves 6.
