1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature
3/4 pound powdered sugar, about 3 cups
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, about 3/4 cup
1/2 ounce paraffin
Toothpicks

Mix peanut butter and butter, then fold in sugar. Roll into balls the size of large marbles and chill on a cookie sheet, lined with wax paper, until firm. For chocolate dip, melt the chocolate and paraffin in a double boiler or crockpot. Use a toothpick to dip balls into chocolate and put them back on cookie sheet, lined with fresh wax paper, to chill. Per buckeye: 86 calories (51 percent of calories from fat), 1 gram protein, 10 grams carbohydrates, trace fiber, 5 grams fat, 5 milligrams cholesterol, 41 milligrams sodium
