Crust:
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter melted
1 egg
Filling:
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. pecans
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 1/2 tsps. vanilla
Combine 3 c. of cake mix with the melted butter and egg, beating until mixed. Press evenly into greased 13x9x2 baking pan and bake in a 350 oven 20 minutes or until golden brown. For filling: Beat eggs and brown sugar
add remaining cake mix, syrup and vanilla. Beat 1 minute
then pour over hot crust and sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 35 minutes or until filling sets.
