Cheese Straws

2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Dash of salt
17.5 oz box puff pastry (2 sheets)
2 Tbs. softened butter

Mix together cheeses, pepper & salt. Spread one puff pastry sheet with butter. Spread with cheese mixture. Place second pastry sheet on top. Mash together ends of pastry. With a rolling pin, roll out to 1/4" thickness, about 15x15. Cut across in 1" ribbons. Cut in half again. Twist each piece. Bake in preheated 425 oven for 3-5 minutes or until puffed & lightly browned. Makes 36. 81 cal, 5g fat, 7mg chol, 106mg sod
