Macadamia Nut & White Chocolate Cookies

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 large eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. white chocolate, coarsely chopped
6 oz. macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 325. Cream together butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs & mix well. Thoroughly combine flour, soda & salt. Stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture until well-blended. Add a little more flour, if necessary, to make a slightly stiff dough. Stir in chocolate & nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each cookie slightly. Bake 13-15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
