Cookies:
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsps. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
Cookie filling:
1/2 c shortening
2 c powdered sugar
1 c marshmallow whip
1 tsp vanilla
3-4 tsp milk
Preheat oven to 400. Cream butter & sugar. Add egg & vanilla, mix. Combine dry ingredients & add alternately with milk. Drop batter by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7 minutes. Do not overbake. Make sanwiches with filling. To make filling: Cream together the shortening & sugar. Add marshmallow whip & vanilla & enough milk for spreading consistency.
