2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted & cooled
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. all purpose flour
6 Tbs. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional
Frosting:
3 Tbs. butter, softened
3 Tbs. cocoa
1 Tb. light corn syrup or honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
1-2 Tbs. milk
Heat oven to 350. Grease a square 8x8x2" pan. In small mixer bowl, beat eggs well
gradually beat in sugar. Blend melted butter & vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt
add to egg mixture, blending thoroughly. Stir in nuts if desired. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or just until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool & frost. Frosting: In small mixing bowl, cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup & vanilla. Add sugar & milk
beat to spreading consistency. Makes about 1 c. frosting.
