1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chop nuts
Heat oven to 350. Grease 9x9x2 pan. In large mixing bowl, blend melted butter, sugar & vanilla. Add eggs
using spoon, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt
gradually blend into egg mixture. Stir in nuts if desired. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool & frost, if desired.
