Smoked Salmon Canapes

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbs. chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsps. lime juice
1/2 tsp. finely minced jalepeno pepper
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
5 slices white bread, crust removed, toasted & quartered diagonally
4 oz. thinly sliced smoked salmon
2 tsps. finely minced red onion

In a small bowl, blend first five ingredients with a wooden spoon. Thinly spread the mixture on the toast points & top with a piece of salmon. Garnish each triangle with a sprinkling of onion. Makes 20 canapes.
