2 racks sparereibs, about 4 lbs.
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. honey
3 Tbs. cider vinegar
1 Tb. sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 Tbs. dry sherry
1 1/2 c. beef broth
2 cloves garlic, minced

Crack the spareribs through the middle. Combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Marinate ribs in mixture overnight in refrigerator. Baste & turn several times. Drain ribs & put on a double-hinged wire grill. Place 5-6" over heat & grill 1 1/4 hours, basting with the marinade & turning frequently. To serve, cut into individual ribs. Makes 4-6 servings.
