1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 c green onions, thinly sliced
1 lb. loaf French bread
6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp dried oregano, divided
1 c sliced mushrooms
1/4 c reduced fat Italian dressing
1/2 c mozzarella cheese
Heat broiler. Line broiler pan with foil. Cook ground beef and green onion over medium heat about 5 minutes
drain. Slice bread lengthwise and place, cut side up, on broiler pan. Spread tomato paste evenly over the bread halves. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp oregano. Top with beef-onion mixture and mushrooms. Drizzle with Italian dressing, an additional oregano and cheese. Broil 6 inches from heat 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into slices and serve.
