Walnut Pie

1/2 c packed brown sugar
2 T flour
1 1/4 c light corn syrup
3 T butter
3 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 c broken walnuts, toasted
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

In a medium saucepan stir together, brown sugar & flour. Add corn syrup & butter. Cook & stir over low heat, just till butter melts. In a small bowl, whisk eggs & vanilla. Add eggs to sugar. Stir in walnuts. Pour all into pie shell. Cover edges of crust with foil to prevent overbrowning. Bake in a 375 oven for 25 mins. Remove foil
continue baking for 10-15 mins more till a knife inserted near the middle comes out clean. Store in refrigerator. 41% fat
