Chocolatetown Pie

9" unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. margarine, softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsps. vanilla or 2 Tbs. bourbon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Festive whipped cream:
1/2 c chilled whipping cream
2 Tbs. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. bourbon

Prepare pastry shell
set aside. Heat oven to 350. In small mixer bowl cream butter
add eggs & vanilla or bourbon. Combine sugar & flour
add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts
pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden. Cool about 1 hour
serve warm. Garnish with Festive Whipped Cream, if desired. Makes 8-10 servings. Festive Whipped Cream: In small mixer bowl combine whipping cream, powdered sugar & vanilla or bourbon
beat until stiff. Makes about 1 cup of topping.
