Lemon Pasta with Shrimp & Red Pepper Sauce

1 lb. lemon or other pasta
4 tsps. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 large bell peppers, chopped
1/2 c. chicken or fish broth
1 lb. medium shrimp, shelled
1 Tb. butter
1/4 c. fresh parsley
1/8 tsp. cayenne
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook pasta. In a skillet, heat oil, add onion & bell pepper & saute them, stirring often for 5 minutes, or until vegetables have softened. Add broth & bring to a boil. Add shrimp & cook for 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat & stir in the butter, parsley, cayenne & salt & pepper, tossing the ingredients until well-combined. Pour sauce over pasta & serve immediately.
