1 cup butter flavored shortening
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

This recipe is for use with a cookie press. Wonderfully soft and more flavorful than the average Spritz Cookie. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening, cream cheese, and sugar. Add egg yolk, vanilla, and orange zest
Continue creaming until light and fluffy. Gradually stir in the flour, salt, and cinnamon. Fill the cookie press, and form cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from baking sheet to cool on wire racks or wax paper.
