1 package fudge marble cake mix
Red & green food coloring
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Red & green food coloring
2 Tbs. cocoa
Assorted colored decors
Preheat oven to 350. For cake, set aside cocoa packet. Prepare cake mix following directions. Divide batter into thirds and place in 3 different bowls. Stir cocoa packet into one. Add 5 drops red food coloring to another. Add 5 drops green food coloring to the third. Stir each just until blended. Layer 1 Tb. of each color batter into each muffin cup. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool completely. Combine sugar, crisco, milk & vanilla. Beat at low speed until blended. Scrape bowl. Beat at high speed 2 minutes. Divide frosting into thirds & place in 3 different bowls. Add cocoa to one and food coloring to the others. Stir each until well blended. Frost cupcakes with a small amount of each color frosting. Sprinkle with colored decors. 24 cupcakes
