25 Years of Mac

Wired magazine has a short article about the history of Macintosh. The graphic below is fun to look at. Nicole and Danny will remember some of the computers and printers on the left. Kelly and Claire are more familiar with the right. Although, Claire still plays with an old 1994 PowerBook 520c that amazingly works and can even surf the internet with a light version of Opera.

I remember using a Mac in the computer lab at the UGA Main Library to work on college papers. The only thing I found strange was the idea that I would drag the icon for the floppy disk to the trash for any other reason than to destroy it.

I didn't own a Mac until a couple years ago, but really, as soon as they put BSD under the cover my Macless days were numbered.
