Analog Web Report

Analog creates an html analysis of webserver log files. It runs very fast, and can be run automatically with AppleScript.

How to get the report available on the web.

Create these directories:
/Library/WebServer/Documents/analog
/Library/WebServer/Documents/analog/images
/Library/WebServer/Documents/analog/charts

Copy Analog images into the /images directory. When I did this, all of the files were protected, so I had to reset read privilges of the /images folder. I did it with /charts folder, too.

Change the following lines in the analog.cfg file using your Hard Disk name:

OUTFILE "HardDisk1:Library:WebServer:Documents:analog:index.html"
# The default file for output.

LOCALCHARTDIR "HardDisk1:Library:WebServer:Documents:analog:charts:"
# where to write the pie charts on the machine running Analog
