Things that aren't used?

That's a pretty good guess, but #1 is frequently used and #8 and #10 are full. #6 sometimes holds potatos [sic] and when they go unused they drip. (Ferment?)

Mom wins. These are the places I put Roach Motels. I replace them every 4 months, so I had to make a list to remember where they go. Dad would be proud (of my list.)

UT said:

No, that's not it. Are they places you hide weapons?

Jeb said:

If roaches are enemies, then yes, these are weapons.

Are you serious? Roach motels? How about trying a pest control service instead of housing roaches? Blahhhh!!!

Grant said:

Roaches! Yuck - you need to get Uncle Grant to build you a new house!

Jeb said:

I guess they are not motels now that I think about it. They are bait traps. The roaches dine, leave, and die. All I know, is they have helped a lot.
