I think he wrote about naked mole rats to see what kind of advertisement Google would assign the page. Prarie dogs and meerkats have similar very social systems where they take care of each others pups. The mole rats have taken it one step further by not having anyone breed but the queen. You see that with other animals like seals and lions where the top male is the only one that breeds, but not as often with a female at the top.
