A Geocache and the Bomb Squad
I've worried about this happening with Colonel Smut's War Chest. That's why I made sure the word "game" was clearly marked on the outside of our military-green ammo box. At least we didn't set up a trip wire!

I like how the police blame the geocache for the time they wasted rather than blame themselves for over-reacting or the person who planted the unrelated bomb who made them paranoid in the first place. Not sure why you need 4 fire trucks for a suspected bomb anyway. In Iraq they just send two guys to defuse bombs.
Definitely a good idea to avoid trip wires and clearly mark the cache as a game.
This situation never even crossed my mind. Maybe you should go get that box.
