April Showers Snows

April 24 - hey dad! how was the golfing tournament? i am pretty good here. ran
out of water again yesterday, even though i bought those two huge
trash cans for storage. it was beautiful weather for a few days, but
today it started to blizzard again. april 23. huge huge snowflakes.
but the water came back on and i got a good shower, so i don't mind so
much about the snow.

tomorrow i am going to bring my computer to
brians. hopefully we can save my documents on his external drive and
then we can reformat my computer and put the docs back on my computer
again. then i will go to the host families. i was hoping it'd be good
weather when i go to visit again because all they do in the winter is
sit in front of the TV. in the nice weather time, we are outdoors and
it is so much nicer.

i am trying to get mariam to apply to be a
foreign exchange student in the US next year, but it is a long
process. the program FLEX covers all expenses, it is really nice.
austin's mother and her aunt are visiting armenia, so i met them
briefly a couple of days ago. they seem to be enjoying the visit. i
went to kathryn's special school (where the special kids go), and
helped her take them on a walk this week. that was fun. our mountains
are really beautiful, and we walked to a spot that i haven't been
before, closer to the mountains. i am going to try to get a group of a
couple of other people to hike one of them in may (hopefully all of
the snow will melt), but it will at least be a two day trip. i think
it will be beautiful, as we have the second highest range in armenia.

what else...? new volunteers come on may 31. that will be exciting.
can you believe i have been gone for 11 months now? seems like it's
going pretty fast! yeah! haven't gotten the package yet, but on the
lookout... i am going to see if by luck my computer will play those
lost dvds you sent. this is after 2 months rest of trying. today would
be a perfect day to watch all of the season 3.
