October 2005 Archives

Yesterday was a great day. I heard from all of my favorite people - thank you for the messages and the birthday cards! Matthew and my friends threw a surprise birthday party. 13 of my buddies on the 13th of October. We had DiPalma's pizza and a Double Chocolate Chip cake from The Grit that spelled "NICO" in white chocolate chips on top. It was great!!! We all hung out at my apartment and then went downtown. Danced to cheesy 80s music and saw a band called Contraband. They play music to the old classic Nintendo game Contra while two people played the game on a big screen. They're good at what they do, very geeky and entertaining. I saw a bunch of other friends downtown and celebrated being an official 23 year old. Great times :)
