Thanks for the post. I would love to get more
involved in the blog. I went to Florence today with
27 other folks and Dad stayed here and went to see the
Pope at noon come out of his balacony window and bless
everybody. He loved it. There were 11 who went to
Assisi on the train. Such fun to be here. Patsy and
MS and Phyllis seem to be enjoying it. What can I
bring you back from Roma_
Love,
Mom

Mom,

The Pope fell out of the church key you gave me some years ago. (It looked like a round gold coin inside a silver circular bottle opener.) So a new church key from Rome would be good. Maybe one that really feels solid. Turns out the Pope part was hollow.

Glad Dad got to see the Pope. The temperature was probably a lot better than when I saw him in July. People were passing out because of the heat.

ROMA!

Patsy, Dan & I are having a great time. So much
history, so much fun, so much vodka, so much walking,
so much fooda. We love it all. We toured and toured
and toured and have about museumed out.
We are taking lots of pictures which we will share on
Ofoto whether you want to see them or not.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TED! You are the same age as
Jack Benny, one of the very best comedians of all
times. Have fun at Susan's tonight. Love to each and
every one of you. Wish we could be with you to help
celebrate your birthday - maybe next year.

Hello to Jeb, Kathy, Nicole, Danny, Kelly and
Claire,Grant, Jami and Fiona, and Susan at the
birthday party. We love all of you.

I am definately going to Mobile on Friday after we get
home (November 18) and Dad says he'll go with me. (I
sure won't turn that down). Edy is in a personal care
home and the lady keeps 3 other patients. I am going
down to pick up Hannah and to get her apartment at
University Oakes cleaned out. Whoa is me. We will be
pretty tired, but I need to do this for her. I feel
so sorry for her.

Patsy is very happy with our funny pastor and doesn't
mind going to mass and touring with the Catholics.
Mary Sydney and Patsy hang out together at the masses!

Love to each of you. We are praying for you. We sure
have lots of opportunities!

Love & XXXX,
Mom, Julie, Aunt Julie, Gramalie
