Learning HTML

I've been wanting to learn Html for a while. Does anyone know a good site with a tutorial that would help?

UT:

I learned HTML from the people who invented the web browser, The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). Their original guide is still very easy to read and you can learn HTML in no time. In fact, you can start writing web pages on your computer before you even finish reading the guide and see how they look.

It also really helps if you then write down the different tips from that guide. I wrote my own guide to HTML using Hypercard, a Macintosh index card program. But you could do the same thing using actual index cards, a notebook, or even web pages. That made it easier for me to look up things quickly like how to combine two cells in a table and also made it stick in my memory better.

I'm sure Mindspring gives you web space that you probably aren't using if you want to start publishing web pages. Of course, Uncle Jeb has a web server you can use for free as well and can tell you how to use that if you want.

Jeb:

I use www.webmonkey.com for reference to both HTML and Javascript. Looks like they have been acquired by (or hosted by) wired.com.

Eric:

I visted webmonkey, but that just had a cheatsheet. I'll check out the site, UT. Thanks to both for replying so quickly!
