Back to school

We finished up a summer of travels by flying home from Chicago on American last Thursday. That was not the best day to travel due to the foiled terrorist plot situation. We did not have any trouble getting through security. Most flights were delayed, but we were home only 1 hour behind the scheduled time.
The boys started school while we were gone. By the time we got back they were on their 5th day of school. Luckily they are all comfortable with school and didn't have any problems.
I am glad to be back home for a while. I did make a quick trip to the beach with Auntie P. and spent one night. I thought about our next family vacation. I went by the 2 houses and they were both empty. Sort of sad. I didn't see anyone at Alecassandra either. I also looked at the place on Avenue E. I'm wondering if anyone would rather go back to the beach next summer or if everyone is happy with the mountains in November.

I am going on a retreat this weekend. I will pray for all of you. When I return I hope you have a destination picked out for our next family vacation. I can go the 1st 3 weeks of July, the 1st 2 weeks of August, or for Thanksgiving 2007.

Dad:

I can go can go all those weeks Carol mentioned, 3 weeks in July, 2 in August and Thanksgiving. I'm ready. I like Anna Maria. If all 18 go we could get a third small house on 84th St. Maybe Mom, Ted and I could rent it and ya'll could divide the two houses. Ticket!
